Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emilio Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warren has chosen God's gonna cut you down by Jonny Cash as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Reggie Warren was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emilio Stark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reggie Warren! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Warren throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stark takes one to the side of the head.
Warren lands a jab to the nose. Warren digs a good body shot into Stark's ribs. Stark on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Warren connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Warren swings away with a leg kick that misses. Warren instigates a clinch. Warren stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Stark working hard to break the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Warren. A quick uppercut on the inside from Warren. Warren works on Stark's body with a couple of short punches. Warren has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stark is trying to keep an underhook but Warren manages to get the takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Warren seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Warren has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark is in a horrible position here. Warren smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Warren raining down hammerfists from mount. Warren misses with a head shot. Warren takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Warren landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warren tries to control but Stark wriggling away. Stark blocking the ground and pound. Stark is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Poor strikes thrown by Warren there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Stark tries to lock up and control but Warren gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stark can't escape the position.
Warren working for a guillotine from mount but Stark is in no mood to give up. Warren with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Warren looking to control but Stark is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Warren jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stark is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stark and Warren has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Warren with the ground and pound but Stark regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Stark is trying to maintain the position but Warren is very close to passing his half guard. Stark is not content to let Warren control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Warren tries to pass to full mount but Stark defends it. Stark is trying to stand up here but Warren is controlling him well. Warren is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Warren moves nicely into side control. Warren tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warren throwing strikes but Stark manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Warren manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Stark trying to hold on to Warren's head to control him but Warren postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Warren dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Stark scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Warren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stark wants to stand but Warren is controlling his arm. Warren wants to control but Stark postures up. Warren is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stark off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warren biding his time, looking for the opening.
Warren lands with a hammerfist to the side of Stark's head. Warren is not going to allow Stark to sit and survive in this position. Warren tries to keep control of the position but Stark is staying busy.

Warren is punishing Stark with some ground and pound. Stark staying busy and making it hard for Warren to control. Well, with Warren on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Stark is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Warren has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Stark's body.
Warren misses with a punch to the head. Will Warren go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stark trying to survive by controlling the hands. Stark trying to control the action but Warren just sinks the hooks in. Warren throwing sloppy strikes. Stark rolls, trying to escape but Warren keeps control of the position.
Warren somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Warren not allowing Stark to control his hands. Warren patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark is trying to remain composed but Warren is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Warren punches the canvas rather than the man. Warren throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Warren is landing with strikes from the back. Warren throwing damaging strikes from the back! Stark could be in trouble here!
Warren somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Warren working for the choke. Warren is throwing strikes by Stark counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Stark regains half guard. Warren throwing shots but Stark is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warren throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Warren is just content to waste time from the top position. Stark takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Stark is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Warren defends well. Stark keeping moving, preventing Warren from controlling successfully. Warrenis looking to pass into half guard but Stark pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stark is in guard. Warren looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Warren showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Warren connects with an inside leg kick. Reggie Warren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Warren scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Emilio Stark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Warren lands a nice hook to Stark's body. Stark takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Stark keeps the fight on the outside. Warren scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Warren just misses with a punch to the body.
Warren connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Warren tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stark was well out of range. Poor timing from Warren. Warren lands a jab to Stark's midsection. Jab, jab by Warren - just one landing. Warren thows a body shot but no joy. Warren misses with a straight right. Warren will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Warren fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stark manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren cracks Stark with a right hand to the side of the head. Warren tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stark swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warren lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Warren softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Warren has Stark pressed against the cage, preventing Stark from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Warren has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stark uses from the top position. Warren has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stark can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stark avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stark slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warren pulls Stark in close to prevent any damage. Stark looking to pass the guard. Stark wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving. Warren looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stark is one step ahead there. Warren throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving. Stark won't allow Warren to sweep him here. Reggie Warren is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stark trying to control but Warren is working from the bottom.
Emilio Stark has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Warren tries to bum rush Stark with a series of wild strikes but Stark uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice takedown defense from Warren. No joy for Stark on that attempt. Warren dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stark. That did some damage!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stark shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stark showed some decent athleticism there. Warren slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Reggie Warren has got the better of the ground game so far. Stark trying to control the position from guard on top but Warren is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Warren seems keen to control Stark's posture. Emilio Stark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Warren looking for a sweep. Not yet Warren, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Reggie Warren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Warren has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
