Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punch Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darwin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rough Gem. Bag is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: back on my feet again. Charles Darwin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darwin fails to land the takedown. Darwin shoots in and bounces Bag off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Darwin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bag's guard. Bag is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Darwin is aware though and is defending well. Darwin works over Bag with some ground and pound from guard. Darwin cracks Bag with a solid left hand. Bag manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Darwin manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Darwin is controlling Bag's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bag with a lazy takedown attempt and Darwin counters with a takedown into side control. Bag tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Darwin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Darwin working the head and body with strikes.
