Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Psycho Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Psycho Sam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Rogers! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sam.
Sam tries to clinch there but Rogers circles away.
Rogers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogers showed some decent athleticism there. Rogers sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rogers scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rogers content to control rather than advance. Sam wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sam is not content to let Rogers control the position. Sam kicks Rogers off and gets back to his feet. Some wild striking there from Rogers.

Rogers misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Rogers misses the target. Sam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rogers swats away the attempt to clinch by Sam.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sam has his takedown stuffed and Rogers counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sam! Rogers is landing with some decent strikes but Sam is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rogers with shots to the head and body - Sam looks very uncomfortable down there. Sam is breathing heavily. Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sam can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Sam wants to hold on but Rogers pushes him away. Rogers working Sam over with strikes here. The referee warns Sam that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers with a couple of short strikes. Rogers lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rogers lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sam hang on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers scoring with strikes but Sam is staying in there. Rogers looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rogers cracks Sam with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rogers looking to finish Sam with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sam! Rogers lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rogers goes for an armbar but Sam turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sam. Sam content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rogers is keeping the position for now. Rogers wriggles free and stands up. Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown. Sam tries to sprawl out of it but Rogers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sam moves in looking to clinch but Rogers pushes him off. Sam checks a leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rogers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sam avoids it really well and circles away. Sam doesn't manage to clinch there - Rogers circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Rogers dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Sam tries to clinch but Rogers moves away and Rogers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sam's guard. Rogers landing some decent shots from guard. Sam looking for a sweep. Not yet Sam, not yet. Sam keeping moving, preventing Rogers from controlling successfully. Rogers missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sam won't let Rogers get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Sam pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rogers really wants to buck Sam off and get back to his feet. Sam lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rogers wants to hold on but Sam pushes him away. The referee warns Rogers that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sam punching from mount but Rogers doing a good job of avoiding damage. You get the feeling that Rogers really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Rogers blocking the ground and pound. Poor strikes thrown by Sam there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Sam won't let Rogers get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Sam punching from mount but Rogers doing a good job of avoiding damage. Sam thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Sam throws a sloppy strike and Rogers uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Rogers has ended up in Sam's guard.
Rogers postures up in Sam's guard and throws a big left but Sam blocks it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rogers throws a low kick but Sam avoids it. Sam rushes Rogers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sam tries to clinch up and Rogers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sam's guard. Sam working a defensive guard here.
Sam wants to sweep but no luck. Rogers's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sam wants to stand but Rogers is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers lands a couple of elbows. Rogers wants to control from the top but Sam keeps moving. Rogers makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rogers working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Rogers cracks Sam with a solid left hand. Rogers is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rogers stands and throws Sam's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Rogers shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sam paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sam lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jimmy Rogers has been cut. Sam is looking to clinch but Rogers is avoiding it.

Sam throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A nice leg kick lands there from Sam. Sam rushes Rogers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rogers has had enough of the clinch but Sam keeps him there for the moment. Rogers changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sam fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sam wants to clinch. Rogers tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Sam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rogers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sam tries to avoid it but Rogers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sam to the ground. Sam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Sam as Rogers shoots in. Psycho Sam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Rogers. Sam dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sam lands a head kick. Rogers smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Sam tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it. Rogers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogers showed some decent athleticism there. Rogers throws a strike but Sam avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rogers wants to control from the top but Sam keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sam works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sam wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Sam is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rogers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sam has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sam manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sam controls Rogers momentarily but Rogers frees himself. Rogers chips away with some ground and pound. Rogers prevents Sam from getting back to his feet. Rogers is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rogers pushes down on Sam's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rogers seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Psycho Sam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rogers scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rogers lands a nice short elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rogers is keen to just control but Sam is a slippery customer. Rogers lands with a punch from half guard. Jimmy Rogers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sam is staying active underneath Rogers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Psycho Sam showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rogers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
