Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tolga Kalabery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Pipinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pipinger's choice of entrance music: Before I Forget -Slipknot. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tolga Kalabery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Pipinger! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalabery gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pipinger to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kalabery really is a fat lump. Kalabery had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pipinger defends it easily. Pipinger throws a big right hand that misses. Pipinger postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pipinger trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kalabery's guard. Pipinger looking to sit in guard and control but Kalabery gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pipinger working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kalabery sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pipinger's guard. Kalabery stops Pipinger from getting back to his feet.
Kalabery wants to take a breather but Pipinger is having none of it. Pipinger gets back to full guard.
Kalabery works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kalabery is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pipinger defends it well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pipinger can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalabery not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pipinger is looking for a sweep. Kalabery is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pipinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalabery. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kalabery stops Pipinger from getting back to his feet.
Pipinger flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kalabery is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pipinger has managed to free his arm - good work. Kalabery throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kalabery prevents Pipinger from improving his position. Kalabery seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A slow jab from Kalabery misses its intended target. Kalabery throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pipinger. Pipinger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kalabery's waist but Kalabery gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pipinger off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pipinger shoots in and drives through. Kalabery sprawls well. Pipinger looks gassed! Pipinger fails to land the takedown. Tolga Kalabery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Pipinger. Kalabery throws a series of punches but Pipinger avoids them all with ease. Pipinger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kalabery. Kalabery misses with a series of wild punches.
Kalabery misses with a takedown and Pipinger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pipinger. Kalabery looking to control.
Pipinger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pipinger makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pipinger controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pipinger trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalabery is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pipinger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kalabery swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pipinger content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Pipinger dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Some wild striking there from Kalabery.
Kalabery throws the left hand but Pipinger avoids the punch easily. Kalabery throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pipinger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kalabery's guard. Kalabery has his foot on Pipinger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pipinger works his way back into a safe position though. Pipinger looking to sit in guard and control but Kalabery gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pipinger pulls Kalabery in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nick Pipinger. Pipinger fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kalabery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kalabery wants it to stay on the feet. Kalabery throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pipinger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pipinger is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pipinger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pipinger looking to improve position, pressing down on Kalabery's thigh with his hand. Kalabery seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Pipinger paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Pipinger's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Kalabery picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
