Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beck Barsanti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raul Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barsanti just misses with a punch to the body.
Barsanti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Barsanti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hughes jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hughes lands the left hand.
Hughes swinging wildly here.
Hughes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hughes moves away from the strike by Barsanti.
Hughes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hughes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Barsanti throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hughes tries a head kick but it misses.
Hughes throws a shot from downtown. Barsanti moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Hughes both land. Nice combination.
Hughes misses with an uppercut. Barsanti saw that one coming.
Barsanti misses with a wild body shot.
Hughes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hughes lands the left hand.
Barsanti closes the distance and clinches.
Barsanti drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hughes gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Barsanti is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hughes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hughes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barsanti.
Beck Barsanti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barsanti fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Hughes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barsanti throws a combination that misses
and Hughes counters with a left to the body.
Barsanti is breathing heavily.
Hughes scores with a nice right hand.
Hughes misses with a combination
and Barsanti counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice shot lands for Hughes.
Barsanti misses with a shot to the body
and Hughes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barsanti is rocked!
Hughes cracks Barsanti with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Barsanti tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hughes pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Barsanti is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raul Hughes!
