Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Price!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Eld tries to keep at a distance but Price has taken the fight into the clinch.
Eld has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Price wants the takedown. Eld is fighting it off but Price persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Eld's guard against the cage.
Price throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Price pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eld is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Eld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Price has gone for a leg lock! Eld slips out almost immediately though and dives into Price's guard.
Eld has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Price is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Eld is aware though and is defending well.
Price pulls Eld in to control the position.
Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Eld's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Price throws his legs up looking for a submission but Eld uses it to pass to side control.

Price is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Price is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Price manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Price missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Eld is not content to let Price control the position.
Price tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Eld.
Eld is refusing to be controlled, as Price sits in half guard.

Price is trying to work for a kimura but Eld is defending well.
Price content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Price trying to control from Eld's half guard. Eld has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Eld on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eld tries to get out of the position.
Price slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Price wants to control from the top but Eld keeps moving.

Robert Price has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Eld throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Price looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eld is fending him off so far but Price persists. Nope, Eld circles away and we're back to standing.
Price tries to close the distance and clinch but Eld swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Eld lands a nice shot to the body.
Price tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eld swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Eld swats away the attempt to clinch by Price.
Eld comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Price wants to clinch up but Eld keeps it at a distance.
Eld avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Price takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Eld jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Eld scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Eld swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Price wants to clinch up but Eld keeps it at a distance.
Price uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Eld.
Price tries to clinch up.
Price on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Price looks gassed!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Price takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Eld with a nice cross.
Price takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Price takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arthur Eld dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Price circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Eld. Price falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Eld!
