Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Lakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia has chosen Essentials Feat J2K & Dynasty - as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Boris Garcia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakovic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The crowd cheers as Lakovic lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garcia doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Boris Garcia has been cut.
Garcia moves out of range of the strikes.
Garcia finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lakovic. Garcia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lakovic shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Garcia closes the distance and clinches up with Lakovic, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes Lakovic against the cage but Lakovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lakovic's waist but Lakovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side.

Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lakovic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lakovic cracks Garcia with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Garcia shoots in for a takedown but Lakovic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lakovic fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Garcia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Garcia takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

The fighters circling - Lakovic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Garcia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lakovic is fending him off so far but Garcia persists. Nope, Lakovic circles away and we're back to standing.

Garcia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lakovic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Garcia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lakovic connects with a jab.
Lakovic throws a leg kick which misses Garcia's front leg but catches the back leg as Garcia tries to avoid it.
Lakovic keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lakovic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lakovic keeps the fight on the outside.
Lakovic is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Garcia is rocked!
Lakovic pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Garcia uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lakovic.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lakovic but Lakovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt - Lakovic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Garcia looks gassed!
Garcia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lakovic circles away.
Garcia moves out of range of the body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lakovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Garcia wants to clinch up but Lakovic keeps it at a distance.
Garcia throws a leg kick but Lakovic checks it.

Garcia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lakovic.
Garcia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lakovic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lakovic throws a hook but Garcia blocks it.
Lakovic leaves Garcia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Garcia fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lakovic lands a nice hook to Garcia's body. Garcia takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Whack! Lakovic lands a heavy head kick that drops Garcia. The ref tackles Lakovic to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Garcia was done.
