Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between steve austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and killer man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). austin comes to the cage accompanied by shattered dreams. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
man forces austin back against the cage and clinches.
austin stalling.
man landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
man lands a good knee to the midsection. austin won't want to take too many of those.
austin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. man is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
austin throws a head punch that misses.
austin lands a right hand.
man tries to pull guard but austin holds him up against the cage and eventually man drops back down to his feet.
man lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like steve austin has been cut.
austin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Both fighters circling a little - man finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
austin is breathing heavily.
man moves into the clinch.
man displaying some good clinch control by pressing austin up against the cage.
man changes levels and goes for a takedown here. austin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
man shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as austin sprawls well. austin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. man gets slowly back to his feet.

austin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

austin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
steve austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

man is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
