Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brick Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Stillwell!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson misses with a head kick.
Stillwell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wilson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stillwell.
Stillwell misses with a two punch combination.
Stillwell looks to throw the jab but Wilson is out of range.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stillwell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson moves into the clinch.
Stillwell lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wilson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stillwell takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch but Stillwell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stillwell blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Wilson throws a sloppy head kick and Stillwell moves out of range easily.
Stillwell throws a series of punches but Wilson avoids them all with ease.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stillwell sprawls well. Stillwell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet.
Stillwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stillwell lands a right hook to the body.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch combination from Stillwell misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stillwell throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Wilson stumbling backwards into the cage! Wilson bounces back off the cage towards Stillwell, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Stillwell lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Stillwell celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thomas Stillwell!
