The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brighton throws a hook but Dean blocks it.
Dean defending well as Brighton loads up on a big left hand.
A combination from Brighton does no damage.
Brighton throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Herbert Dean has been cut.
Brighton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dean keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brighton throws a lazy right hand but Dean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dean ducks under a wild hook from Brighton.
Dean fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brighton avoids it really well and circles away.
Dean fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brighton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brighton misses with a head kick.

Dean drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Dean pushes down on Brighton's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Dean is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brighton is just riding it out for now. Dean eventually gives up the hold.
Brighton has hold of Dean's hands but Dean slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dean is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Dean has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Brighton defend it? Dean steps over the head and cranks it - Brighton is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dean!
