The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klosov misses with a two punch combination.
Klosov throws a nice looking combination but Godoy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Godoy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Klosov for as long as he can get away with.
Klosov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Godoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Godoy is working to tighten is grip on Klosov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Klosov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Godoy is really squeezing tight and eventually Klosov passes out! Godoy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
