Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from falcon.
falcon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
falcon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miz circles away.

Miz moves into the clinch successfully.
falcon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Miz smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for zorrito falcon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Miz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miz misses with a head kick.
falcon shoots in and drives through. Miz sprawls well.

Miz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
falcon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Miz staying calm.
falcon is looking to regain half guard here but Miz keeps moving and retains side control.

falcon prevents Miz from improving position.
Miz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused falcon some visible discomfort.
falcon can't do much from the bottom here.
falcon tries to bench press Miz off him but Miz keeps the position.
Miz tries to move into full mount but can't pass falcon's legs.
falcon seems a little lost for a moment, as Miz dominates the positioning.

Miz stands up.
Miz has his takedown stuffed
and falcon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
falcon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miz.
Miz looks gassed!
Miz tries to score a power double leg takedown but falcon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miz somewhat.
Miz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
falcon throws a head kick but Miz moves out of range.

Miz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
falcon tries to kick Miz off but Miz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

falcon pushes Miz off and gets back to his feet.
falcon shoots in but no luck this time.
falcon connects with a right hand. Miz shakes it off.

falcon scores with a takedown into Miz's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

falcon drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. falcon seems to have locked his on tight now - Miz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for falcon, as he picks up the win!
