Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Rae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnum Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by State of Massachsetts-Dropkick Murphys. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rae manages to avoid it.
Gunn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gunn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Gunn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rae.
Nice body kick from Rae.
Rae will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rae is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gunn is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Magnum Gunn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gunn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rae can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gunn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rae's face.

BOOM! Gunn connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Rae is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rae seems to have got his legs back now.
Gunn is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Gunn lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Rae! Gunn sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Rae and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
