Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Kombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kombo's half guard.
Kombo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Vera lands strikes from half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vera lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Vera is nestled in close to Kombo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Vera has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Vera unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kombo wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Vera celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
