The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downs takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Downs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sagdiyev forces Downs back against the cage and clinches.
Sagdiyev scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sagdiyev is trying to stall.
A short body shot lands from Downs as the two fighters clinch.
Downs can't find room to land a body shot as Sagdiyev controls the action.
Downs taking a breather.
A head punch on the inside from Downs fails to land.
A short uppercut from Sagdiyev.
Downs goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Downs pulls guard successfully.
Sagdiyev wanted to stand there but Downs had control of the position.
Sagdiyev is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Downs has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sagdiyev is looking to defend but Downs has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sagdiyev! Downs pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sagdiyev taps out and this one is all over!
