Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by In The Ghetto - By Elvis Presley. Jack Ass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oswaldo Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Ass! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Ass. Ass gets slowly back to his feet. Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ass will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sanchez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ass has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ass and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ass pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ass throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sanchez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ass misses with a wild combination.
Sanchez swings for the body but Ass moves out of range.
Ass wants to clinch. Sanchez slips a straight right by Ass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ass shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense. Sanchez thuds a left hand into Ass's body. Sanchez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ass. A solid leg kick lands there for Ass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez misses with a straight left. Ass scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Ass throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ass. Ass avoids the body shot from Sanchez.
Ass needs to keep his hands up - Sanchez had a free shot at his head there. Sanchez scores with a three punch combo!
Sanchez misses with a wild body shot. Ass throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sanchez counters with a straight right hand. Ass throws a combination that misses and Sanchez counters with a straight right hand. Sanchez feints and then cracks Ass's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ass down. Ass dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Ass's head and hops out. Oswaldo Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ass. A right-left combo lands from Sanchez. Nice shot lands for Sanchez. Ass ducks right into an uppercut from Sanchez. Ass throws a jab when Sanchez was well out of range. Sanchez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ass feints and as Sanchez raises his hands in defense, Ass changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ass postures up in Sanchez's guard and throws a big left but Sanchez blocks it. Ass trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ass trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ass is working Sanchez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ass on the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ass throwing strikes but missing. Ass landing with the ground and pound. Ass stopping the sweep attempt from Sanchez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ass trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanchez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sanchez tries to get out of the position. Sanchez controls Ass momentarily but Ass frees himself. Ass throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanchez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ass loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ass throws a big right hand that misses. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Ass from controlling successfully. Sanchez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ass content to stall in guard here. Ass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Oswaldo Sanchez will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ass drives through with a takedown into guard. Ass postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ass stops Sanchez from standing up. Ass keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sanchez's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ass loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ass thows a big elbow that misses. Ass is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ass pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ass is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ass is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ass distracts Sanchez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Ass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ass loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ass is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ass in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ass throws and elbow that misses. Sanchez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ass's guard. Nice move by Sanchez! Ass is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez controlling from the top position. Ass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Ass keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ass misses the body punch and Sanchez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Ass. Sanchez does a little dance to reset his feet. Jack Ass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ass fails with the takedown. Sanchez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Ass showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ass looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well. Ass bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ass wants to control but Sanchez is keeping him busy. Ass lands a decent elbow from side control. Ass landing a few strikes. Sanchez wants to control but Ass postures up. Ass working the ground and pound. Ass is looking to take a break and control but Sanchez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The strikes coming from Ass are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ass working the ground and pound but Sanchez is defending the strikes. Sanchez takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Ass taking a breather here. Sanchez tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ass trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. Ass throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ass sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sanchez is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ass working the strikes but Sanchez uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Ass thows a huge punch but Sanchez dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ass connects with a nice short shot to Sanchez's temple. Sanchez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ass. Ass sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sanchez defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sanchez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ass thows a huge punch but Sanchez dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Ass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ass has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
