Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas Schmidt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Couture!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andreas Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Couture.
Couture throws a jab when Schmidt was well out of range.
Schmidt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Couture tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Schmidt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Couture is trying to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Couture sneaks out the side door and pushes Schmidt away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Couture lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schmidt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schmidt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Schmidt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Couture avoids it really well and circles away.
