Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Von Rothfelder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Rothfelder has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Henry Hawk could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Rothfelder tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hawk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Von Rothfelder pinned against the cage. Von Rothfelder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Von Rothfelder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Von Rothfelder counters with a series of strikes. Hawk will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Von Rothfelder counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hawk's knee momentarily.

Hawk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Von Rothfelder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Von Rothfelder throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hawk.
A nice leg kick lands there from Von Rothfelder.
Von Rothfelder lands with a kick to the temple. Hawk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Hawk throws a hook to the side of Von Rothfelder's head but Von Rothfelder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Von Rothfelder throws a combination. Hawk tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Hawk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Von Rothfelder lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Von Rothfelder.

A nice inside leg kick there by Von Rothfelder. That's going to slow Hawk down.
Von Rothfelder lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Hawk is looking to regain half guard here but Von Rothfelder keeps moving and retains side control.

Hawk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hawk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Von Rothfelder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hawk working for a triangle but Von Rothfelder defends it easily.
Von Rothfelder has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hawk to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Von Rothfelder is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hawk pulls down on the head and he's put Von Rothfelder to sleep! This one is all over!
