The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKickAss slips a jab and a cross from Phillips.
McKickAss lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Phillips fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ryan Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKickAss swats away the attempt to clinch by Phillips.
Phillips is looking to clinch.
McKickAss stuffs the takedown attempt from Phillips. Phillips gets slowly back to his feet.
McKickAss lands with an overhand left.
McKickAss thuds a left hand into Phillips's body.
Phillips throws a head kick that misses.
Phillips misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Phillips tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McKickAss swivels and escapes.
Phillips shoots in for a double leg but McKickAss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Phillips throws a sloppy head kick and McKickAss moves out of range easily.
Phillips has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McKickAss finds it's way round the side to connect with Phillips's head.
Phillips is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McKickAss.

McKickAss dances in with a quick combination. Phillips is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from McKickAss snaps Phillips's head back. Phillips stumbles backwards against the cage. McKickAss steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Phillips's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Phillips just didn't come prepared.
