Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan thows a body shot but no joy. Rogan slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.
Rogan scores with a jab to the jaw. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rogan sprawls well. Rogan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet. Lesnar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rogan seems a little lost for a moment, as Lesnar dominates the positioning. Rogan taking punishment in the form of punches.
Lesnar working the body and head with strikes. Rogan tries to buck Lesnar off but Lesnar is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar tries to move to full mount but Rogan actually manages to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lesnar preventing the sweep. Lesnar passes Rogan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rogan trying to control but Lesnar postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lesnar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Rogan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lesnar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rogan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Lesnar wants to pass to mount but Rogan is defending the position. Lesnar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan tries to roll over but Lesnar keeps him under control. Lesnar thows a huge punch but Rogan dodges it nicely.
Lesnar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. It looks like Lesnar is going to stand back up.
Rogan is looking to control Lesnar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rogan avoid being mounted? Rogan is refusing to be controlled, as Lesnar sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rogan gets back to full guard.
Rogan trying to keep a closed guard but Lesnar is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rogan stalks Lesnar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lesnar's face. Lesnar staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut. Lesnar shoots in but Rogan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rogan lands a jab-cross combination. Lesnar looks gassed! Lesnar walks into a stiff left hand from Rogan. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rogan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lesnar gets a takedown into half guard. Rogan wants to control but Lesnar is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Rogan will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rogan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesnar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rogan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lesnar is not content to let Rogan control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lesnar holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Rogan is keen to just control but Lesnar is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lesnar looks to throw the jab but Rogan is out of range. Lesnar with a lazy takedown attempt and Rogan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lesnar is breathing heavily. Lesnar takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rogan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lesnar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circle momentarily. Rogan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rogan lands a right hook to the body.
Lesnar takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rogan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rogan scores with a shot to the body.
Rogan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Rogan with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rogan lands with an uppercut that bounces Lesnar off the cage and back into rage. Rogan scores with a nice strike. Rogan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rogan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A jab lands there for Rogan. Joe Rogan is winning the standup battle so far. Rogan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rogan. Rogan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rogan is looking to advance position but Lesnar won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rogan trying to control from half guard but Lesnar is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rogan decides to stand and escape the position. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rogan jabs at Lesnar's body. Lesnar scores with a takedown into Rogan's guard. Lesnar tries to free his leg and advance position but Rogan is retaining full guard. Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rogan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lesnar with a flurry of punches that miss. Rogan keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Rogan dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rogan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rogan is looking to wear down Lesnar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Rogan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogan showed some decent athleticism there. Rogan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesnar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. It looks like Rogan is going to stand back up.
Lesnar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Rogan manages to pass to mount!
Rogan tries to control but Lesnar wriggling away. Lesnar is trying to stand up. Rogan looking to control but Lesnar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lesnar is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rogan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Lesnar tries to hold on but Rogan pushes him away. Lesnar is trying to stand. Joe Rogan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is in all sorts of trouble here.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rogan is really struggling to control Lesnar but he's trying to hold on to the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Rogan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rogan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
