The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copenhagen fails with a takedown attempt.
Dixon lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dixon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Copenhagen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dixon!
Dixon wants to hold on but Copenhagen pushes him away.
Dixon manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Copenhagen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dixon is just riding it out for now. Copenhagen eventually gives up the hold.
Dixon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Copenhagen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Copenhagen's back!

Dixon looking to break Copenhagen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Copenhagen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dixon will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Copenhagen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dixon is trying to maintain the position but Copenhagen is very close to passing his half guard.
Dixon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dixon.

Copenhagen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dixon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Copenhagen, into his guard.
Copenhagen wants to get back to his feet but Dixon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dixon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Copenhagen defend it? Dixon steps over the head and cranks it - Copenhagen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dixon!
