Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gedo Sake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Brownie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chael Brownie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gedo Sake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chael Brownie!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sake gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brownie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brownie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brownie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sake looking for a sweep. Not yet Sake, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brownie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sake's head.
Brownie stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Brownie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sake but Sake pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brownie dives in and grabs Sake's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sake pushes down on Brownie's head and hops out.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Brownie.
Brownie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sake knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brownie is trying to get an arm triangle but Sake is defending well.
Brownie looks gassed!
Sake has one of Brownie's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Brownie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sake, who protects the arm well.
Sake can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brownie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sake is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sake can't do much from the bottom here.
Sake is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Brownie is controlling him well.
Sake is trying to control Brownie's posture but Brownie avoids it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crunch! Sake slams his shin into Brownie's torso.

Sake dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sake clinches with his opponent.
Sake manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Sake pulls Brownie in close to prevent any damage.
Brownie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sake's head.

Sake lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brownie!
Brownie tries to reverse the position but Sake maintains control.
Brownie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Brownie is squirming around, avoiding Sake's attempts to control the action.
Brownie is looking to improve his position but Sake isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chael Brownie will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Gedo Sake's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sake misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sake fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brownie has his takedown stuffed
and Sake counters with a head kick. That will keep Brownie thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Sake gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brownie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sake looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sake looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sake!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brownie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Sake tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brownie keeps working.
Brownie throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Brownie fails with the takedown
so Sake counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brownie is looking for a triangle but Sake pushes his legs off easily.

Sake trying to control but Brownie is working from the bottom.
Brownie has his foot on Sake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sake works his way back into a safe position though.
Sake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brownie on the ground.
Sake pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brownie is keeping the position for now.
Sake wanted to stand there but Brownie had control of the position.

Brownie has his feet on Sake's thighs here. He's pushed Sake off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sake screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
