Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Vemola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Sanderra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Vemola! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rafael Sanderra! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vemola blocks a head kick by Sanderra.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Vemola. Vemola has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Sanderra! Vemola controlling the position easily from mount. Sanderra wants to try and get back to his feet. Vemola looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Sanderra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vemola. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sanderra wants to try and get back to his feet. Vemola working for a submission but Sanderra is keeping him at bay. Vemola content just to control the position here. Sanderra wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vemola has control of Sanderra's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sanderra regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sanderra is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Vemola really is a fat lump. Vemola controlling the pace for now. You get the feeling that Sanderra really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanderra looks gassed! Vemola with a couple of short strikes. Sanderra wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vemola is in the full mount, landing strikes. Vemola scoring with strikes but Sanderra is staying in there. Vemola looking for a guillotine from mount but Sanderra is having none of it. Sanderra is in a horrible position here. Vemola smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vemola in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Vemola walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rafael Sanderra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vemola changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanderra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Vemola is staying tight to Sanderra's torso, preventing him from escaping. Sanderra wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanderra is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Vemola stands up and beckons Sanderra to his feet. Sanderra throws a head kick but Vemola moves out of range.
Vemola shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sanderra napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sanderra is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vemola is controlling him well. Vemola works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanderra pushes Vemola away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vemola gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Vemola has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Vemola changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanderra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanderra wants to get back to his feet but Vemola is dominant here and he's now got Sanderra's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vemola closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanderra to the mat! Sanderra manages to get full guard. Vemola stands up from Sanderra's guard - Vemola perhaps looking for a knockout. Sanderra throws a leg kick but Vemola checks it. Sanderra throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A nice inside leg kick there by Sanderra. That's going to slow Vemola down. Nice body kick there by Sanderra. Sanderra throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sanderra throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vemola sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sanderra misses with a straight left. Sanderra throws a right and a left that both miss. Vemola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vemola scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanderra wants to get back to his feet. Vemola is pressing down on Sanderra's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sanderra is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vemola looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sanderra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Vemola thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vemola seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Vemola wants to stand up but Sanderra is controlling the position.
Sanderra is staying active underneath Vemola, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A head kick from Sanderra lands but Vemola takes it in his stride. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sanderra. Vemola shrugs it off though. Sanderra connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sanderra misses with a hook. Sanderra throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Carlos Vemola is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vemola closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vemola lands in his opponent's guard. Vemola is pushing down on Sanderra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sanderra is fighting to maintain full guard but Vemola has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vemola lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Vemola has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vemola stops Sanderra from getting back to his feet.

Vemola wants to take a breather but Sanderra is having none of it. Sanderra tries to kick Vemola off but Vemola keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Vemola seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sanderra won't allow Vemola to pass to mount. Sanderra looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanderra lands with a slapping head kick. Sanderra looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Vemola darts in and clinches Sanderra up against the cage. Vemola gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Sanderra keeping moving, preventing Vemola from controlling successfully. Sanderra wants to stand and escape but Vemola is having none of it. Vemola drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vemola jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vemola decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sanderra, up you get! Nice body punch from Vemola. Sanderra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carlos Vemola dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Vemola takes one to the chin there. Sanderra tried to score with a low kick but Vemola checks it. Sanderra tries to keep at a distance but Vemola has taken the fight into the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Vemola as Sanderra tries to tie him up. Vemola lands a takedown into guard.
Vemola is standing up over Sanderra. Sanderra looks to escape but Vemola dives into side control.
Sanderra tries to escape back to his feet but Vemola has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Sanderra's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Sanderra is tapping! Vemola saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
