2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Katsuo Fujikage! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujikage moves into the clinch successfully.

Fujikage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Everett is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fujikage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Everett gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fujikage wriggles free and stands up. Everett gets in close and instigates a clinch. Everett lands a nice shot to the body. Fujikage wants to break free but Everett has control.
Everett tightens his grip and picks Fujikage up, before dumping him to the ground. Fujikage manages to land in guard. Everett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Katsuo Fujikage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fujikage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Everett clinches with his opponent.
Everett is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Everett has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fujikage is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Everett drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cam Everett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Everett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fujikage pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Everett takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Fujikage fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Fujikage throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Everett's head. Fujikage throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Fujikage. No joy for Everett on that attempt. Everett closes the distance and clinches. Fujikage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Everett has him pressed against the cage. Fujikage managing to block the knees to the body from Everett.
Everett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fujikage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Everett drives through and clinches with Fujikage against the cage.
Fujikage is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Everett turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Everett stands up and we're back to a striking position. Everett blocks a head kick by Fujikage.
Everett pushes Fujikage up against the cage in a clinch. Everett landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett prevents Fujikage from breaking the clinch. Everett scores a nice knee to the body.
Everett crunches a lovely knee into Fujikage's ribcage. Fujikage manages to break the clinch.
Fujikage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fujikage throws a head kick that misses and Everett counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Everett. Fujikage is controlling Everett's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fujikage pushes Everett off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Everett shoots in but no luck this time. Fujikage throws a lazy head kick and Everett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fujikage's guard. Everett working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fujikage's head. Everett wants to stand but Fujikage is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cam Everett dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Oh Everett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Horrible takedown by Everett or perhaps it was just good defense by Fujikage which made him look bad. Fujikage clinches. Fujikage is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujikage connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Everett badly! Everett tumbles to the floor and Fujikage stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
