Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoriyoshi Matsushina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reese Andy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoriyoshi Matsushina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reese Andy! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Matsushina. Excellent takedown into side control there by Matsushina. Andy prevents Matsushina from improving position. You can see the frustration on Andy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Andy manages to get back to half guard. Andy is defending against the submission attempts here by Matsushina.
Matsushina keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Matsushina is trying to control the action in half guard but Andy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Matsushina sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Andy defending well though. Matsushina is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Andy! Andy is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsushina landing shots from mount.
It looks like Reese Andy has been cut. Matsushina looking to control but Andy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Matsushina tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Andy. Andy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Matsushina is breathing heavily. Andy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Matsushina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Andy throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Andy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Matsushina wants to stand but Andy has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Andy looking for a guillotine here but Matsushina defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Matsushina stands up from guard. Let's bang! Matsushina shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andy drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matsushina is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Matsushina throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Matsushina looking to hit a scissor sweep but Andy is one step ahead there. Matsushina thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Matsushina trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Andy stopping the sweep attempt from Matsushina. Matsushina has his foot on Andy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andy works his way back into a safe position though. Matsushina is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Matsushina bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Matsushina wants to stand but Andy has his arm trapped. Matsushina decides to stand up, so the ref orders Andy to his feet. Matsushina stuffs the takedown. Matsushina fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Andy sprawls well initially but Matsushina persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Matsushina trying to control the action but Andy is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andy is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Matsushina pulls his head out easily. Andy moves into full guard.

Andy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Matsushina is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Andy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Matsushina's back instead. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andy has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Matsushina is in real trouble here. Andy gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Matsushina is tapping out! Andy wins by rear naked choke!
