Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Peter Acton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Acton! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Acton with that takedown attempt. Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bob throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bob throws a right hand that Acton ducks under and follows up with a left that Acton also avoids with ease. A head kick misses from Bob. Acton is rocked! Bob tries to score with some ground and pound. Acton controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Acton is still in real trouble! Can Bob finish him? He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bob is working hard here to advance position. Bob won't allow Acton to sweep him here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bob throws a right and a left that Acton avoids nicely. Bob throws a series of punches but Acton avoids them all with ease. Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Acton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bob is looking to work some ground and pound but Acton has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bob throws a head kick but Acton moves out of range.
Bob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A head kick misses from Bob. Bob throws a series of punches but Acton avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acton avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bob is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bob looking to ground and pound but Acton is blocking nicely. Bob working the ground and pound effectively.

Jim Bob dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up but Acton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bob pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Acton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Acton cracks Bob with a solid left hand. Bob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Acton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Acton advances to half guard. Peter Acton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Acton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Bob Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Acton's back instead. Bob misses with a punch to the head. Acton trying to control the action but Bob just sinks the hooks in. Acton has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Bob. Acton is really stuck here.
Bob is not going to allow Acton to sit and survive in this position. Acton avoids the strikes from Bob. Acton breaks Bob's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
