Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Travos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travos has chosen Korn - Blind as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Travos! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Travos. Travos clinches up with Steel and pushes him back against the cage. Travos drags the fight down to the ground.
Travos has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Travos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Steel trying to control the position from guard on top but Travos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Travos looking for a sweep. Not yet Travos, not yet. Travos pulls Steel in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Travos moves out of range and avoids them all easily. John Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Travos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steel pinned against the cage. Steel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Travos looks for a takedown but Steel sprawls well. John Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Travos. A head kick from Steel lands but Travos takes it in his stride. Travos gets a clinch. Travos blocks an uppercut.
Travos gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Steel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Travos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Travos's back! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Steel gets his hands free as Travos looks to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Travos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Steel's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Steel avoiding Travos 's attempts to control his hands. Steel is trying to stick to Travos's back but Travos is turning into Steel. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Steel's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Travos.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Travos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Travos trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom. Steel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Travos on the ground. Travos throws and elbow that misses. Steel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Travos's guard. Nice move by Steel! Steel stopping the sweep attempt from Travos. Travos pulls Steel in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Travos looking for a sweep. Not yet Travos, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Travos manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Travos thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Travos trying to control but Steel is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Steel will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Steel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Travos to score an easy takedown into full guard. Travos trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom. Travos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Steel working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Travos. Steel wants to get back to his feet but Travos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is controlling Travos's posture. Travos stops Steel from standing up. Travos wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Travos shoots for a takedown but Steel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Travos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steel.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Steel misses with a series of wild punches.
Travos lands with a good body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Travos forces Steel back against the cage and clinches. Travos has Steel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Steel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Travos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Steel walks away with a smile on his face. Travos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. John Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Travos. Steel misses with a straight right. Nice sprawl there from Steel as Travos shoots in. Travos dives in and grabs Steel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steel pushes down on Travos's head and hops out. John Steel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Travos sees it coming and avoids it easily. Travos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steel swats him away and circles back towards the center. Travos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Steel wants to clinch up but Travos keeps it at a distance. Travos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A decent looking cross lands there for Steel. Steel throws a combination. Travos tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Travos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Travos shoots in and drives through. Steel sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Travos on the side of the head. Steel darts in and clinches Travos up against the cage. Travos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Steel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Steel. With the fighters up against the cage, Steel throws an elbow but misses. Steel connects with a knee to the head.

Steel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Steel manages to break the clinch.
Steel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Travos's sensitive parts. Steel tries to clinch up but Travos circles away and keeps his distance. Travos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steel throws a lazy right hand but Travos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Travos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Steel keeps the fight on the outside. Steel misses with a head kick.
Travos takes a swing at Steel's ribcage but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Travos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Travos lands in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Travos trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Travos looking to sit in guard and control but Steel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Steel postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Steel dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Steel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Travos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steel defends it nicely. Travos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Travos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Poor strikes thrown by Travos there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Travos tries to control but Steel wriggling away. Travos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Travos unloading with bombs! Steel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steel tries to get out of the position. Travos looking to control but Steel is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Steel is trying to escape the mount.
A nice elbow there by Travos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Travos scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Travos unloads with some shots from mount but Steel bucks and avoids them well.
Steel is looking to get to half guard. Travos scoring with strikes but Steel is staying in there. Boris Travos has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Travos is landing with some decent strikes but Steel is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Travos postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Steel badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Travos around the waist but Travos pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Travos is the winner by TKO! Travos jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Travos!
