Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slava Vitruk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.
It looks like Slava Vitruk has been cut.
Jones clinches up against the ropes.
Vitruk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vitruk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones gets to his feet. Vitruk looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Vitruk walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
