The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valley as he jumps to the side.
Sobral tries for a takedown but Valley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Valley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Valley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sobral is looking for a sweep. Valley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Valley passes to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Valley trying to control the position but Sobral is working away.

Valley lands a strong strike to the head of Sobral. That's dazed him! Valley looking to finish here. Sobral is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Valley lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
