Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Euclides Cunhha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caston Schultes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunhha comes to the cage accompanied by Raimundus - Eu quero ver o oco. Caston Schultes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Euclides Cunhha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caston Schultes! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Schultes enables Cunhha to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Schultes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cunhha tries to free his leg and advance position but Schultes is retaining full guard. Cunhha works a leg free and moves into half guard. Schultes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cunhha is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cunhha is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schultes sees it coming and defends easily. Schultes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cunhha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cunhha wants to pass to mount but Schultes is defending the position. Schultes gets full guard. Cunhha wants to control from the top but Schultes keeps moving. Cunhha controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cunhha postures up in Schultes's guard and throws a big left but Schultes blocks it. Cunhha pushing down on Schultes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Schultes looks gassed! Cunhha has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cunhha working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Schultes turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cunhha off and cradles Schultes's limp body as Cunhha celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Euclides Cunhha!
