Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skeeter Gator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gator is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Drop it Like its Hot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Gator feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones stops Gator from passing to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jones wants to stand but Gator is controlling the position.

Gator decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get!
Devon Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gator takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gator looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jones lands a left and a right that send Gator crashing to the mat, dazed. Jones thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gator is rocked!

It looks like Skeeter Gator has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Jones engages and cracks Gator with a massive lead left hook - Gator tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Jones is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
