The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abortion decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
cedergren looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
cedergren is looking to improve his position.
Abortion takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Abortion is working for a kimura but cedergren is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I looks like Abortion might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
BOOM! Abortion connects with a massive shot to the dome!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Sledgehammer Abortion just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Abortion tries to close the distance and clinch but cedergren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Abortion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as cedergren sprawls well. cedergren wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Abortion gets slowly back to his feet.
Sledgehammer Abortion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abortion tries to score a power double leg takedown but cedergren sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abortion somewhat.
Abortion lands with a thumping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sledgehammer Abortion dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Abortion lands with a right that hurts cedergren. cedergren looks to clinch but Abortion throws a short knee that drops cedergren. This one is all over!
