Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BC Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Eagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Paint it Black. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eagen swivels and escapes.
Hawkins tries to sprawl but Eagen drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hawkins is doing well to control the position and prevent Eagen from advancing to side control.
Eagen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hawkins sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eagen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hawkins has picked Eagen up and slammed him! Eagen can't keep hold of the triangle and Hawkins manages to pass to side control!

Hawkins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hawkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eagen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
BC Hawkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
You can see the frustration on Eagen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Hawkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Eagen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Eagen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hawkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Eagen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hawkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
