Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Man D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Firestarter. Tom Cat acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Man D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Cat!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D tries to bum rush Cat with a series of wild strikes but Cat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
D throws a shot from downtown. Cat moves away and avoids it.
D misses with a jab, cross combination.

D has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cat is trying to drag D to the mat but D just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cat is working for takedown but D is calmly controlling the position for now.
D effectively controlling the action here.
A right hand to the body from D.
D stalling the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Man D.
D misses the shot to the body.
D fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cat.
Cat tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cat looks gassed!
D swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cat ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
D scoring well with a low kick there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from D does it's job there.
D fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
D misses with a head kick.

D fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cat, pushing him back against the cage.
D lands an elbow inside.
D is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Cat has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. D is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Man D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Cat.
D stalling in the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
D tries a knee to the head but Cat blocks it.
D is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Man D.
Cat fails with a takedown attempt.
D fails to land with a series of punches.
D throws out a loose jab but Cat uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but D avoids it really well and circles away.
D throws a big shot that misses.
Cat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
D throws a nice looking combination but Cat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cat blocks a head kick by D.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man D dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Cat moves away from the strike by D.
D fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cat has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

D takes the fight into the clinch.
D is struggling to control the position.
Cat has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. D avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cat blocks an elbow strike from D.
Cat is trying to work for a single leg takedown but D pulls him back up using the underhooks.
D creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cat's defenses.
Cat's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Cat looking for a takedown.
Man D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Cat.
Cat is breathing heavily.
Cat drops down looking for an ankle pick but D pulls his leg out and moves away.
D fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
D closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That kick from D tenderised Cat's leg. Cat is trying to keep his angry face on.
This has been an exciting period of action!
D misses with a looping right.
D connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cat. Cat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Danga de danga de dang - D scores with a four punch combination!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before D can pounce on him.
D fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cat to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cat looks to clinch but D throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cat taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Man D!
