Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Lynxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Kemp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne Kemp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lincoln Lynxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wayne Kemp! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynxx changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kemp tries to avoid it but Lynxx manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kemp to the ground. Kemp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kemp stuffs the takedown. Kemp closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lynxx is trying to buck Kemp off. Kemp is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lynxx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lynxx is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lynxx trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lynxx prevents Kemp from improving position. Kemp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kemp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kemp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kemp looks gassed! Kemp is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lynxx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kemp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kemp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kemp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kemp tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lynxx's legs. Kemp prevents Lynxx from escaping the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kemp is trying to get an arm triangle but Lynxx is defending well. Kemp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kemp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lynxx has his takedown stuffed and Kemp counters with a shoot takedown. Lynxx fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lincoln Lynxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kemp tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynxx is retaining full guard. Lynxx kicks Kemp off and gets to his feet. Lynxx with a poor takedown and Kemp counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kemp clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Kemp dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Lynxx takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lynxx with a poor takedown and Kemp counters with a single leg into guard. Lynxx didn't expect that. Kemp decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lynxx, up you get! Lynxx tries for a takedown but Kemp circles away easily and Kemp counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kemp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kemp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kemp drops back looking for a leg! Lynxx is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lynxx manages to kick Kemp off! Kemp jumps back into Lynxx's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kemp drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lynxx dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynxx got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kemp has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lynxx has managed to get both his arms back between Kemp's legs - danger averted. Lynxx has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kemp wants to sweep but no luck. Kemp is trying to keep Lynxx in close.
Kemp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lynxx is defending against the submission attempts here by Kemp.
Kemp is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kemp is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lynxx is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wayne Kemp!
