Ryuu comes to the cage accompanied by HBO Boxing 24/7 Original Theme. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuudai Ryuu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moose Drool!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryuu blocks a head kick by Drool.
A lazy body kick from Drool

and Ryuu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drool's guard now.
Ryuu controlling from the top position.
Drool is looking to stand up but Ryuu isn't so interested in that idea.
Ryuu throws a big right hand that misses.

Ryuu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryuu postures up in Drool's guard and throws a big left but Drool blocks it.
Ryuu with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ryuu passes into half guard.
Drool is in trouble now - Ryuu has advanced to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Drool tries to hold on but Ryuu pushes him away.
Drool is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Ryuu controlling his opponent.
Ryuu raining down hammerfists from mount.
Drool wants to control but Ryuu is having none of it.
Ryuu unloads with some shots from mount but Drool bucks and avoids them well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Ryuu connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Moose Drool has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ryuu looking to control but Drool is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Ryuu has hold of Drool's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Drool manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ryuu prevents Drool from getting the reversal.
Ryuu controlling the pace for now.
Ryuu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Drool looks a forlorn figure.
Ryuu landing strikes, looking to finish!

The cut above Moose Drool's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Moose Drool's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
