Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Triton Rex Vergara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen It's My Time-Fabulous as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Felipe Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vergara throws a predictable looking body shot
and Torres counters with a left to the body.

Torres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
I looks like Torres might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Torres wants to control from the top but Vergara keeps moving.

Torres drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Torres jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vergara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Torres on the ground.
Torres wants to stand but Vergara has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Torres is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
