Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bassi Maestro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Tuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuna is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sharky + George. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bassi Maestro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Tuna! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

Tuna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tuna.
Tuna tried to score with a low kick but Maestro checks it. Bassi Maestro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tuna thows a body shot but no joy. Tuna wants to slow Maestro down by chopping away at his legs. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tuna, right into the meat.
An inside leg kick lands from Tuna. Maestro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tuna misses with a low kick.
Maestro scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tuna throws a low kick but Maestro moves out of range easily. Tuna keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Maestro misses the body punch and Tuna counters with a body kick that stops Maestro in his tracks momentarily. Tuna attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Maestro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tuna defends it nicely. Tuna lands a leg kick that knocks Maestro off balance momentarily. Maestro has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tuna. Maestro fails to land with a series of punches.
Maestro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tuna takes one to the side of the head.
Tuna connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Maestro's corner calls for a 1-2. Maestro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tuna slips a straight right by Maestro.
Tuna scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Maestro is looking for a sweep. Maestro trying to remain calm as Tuna controls from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maestro wants to control but Tuna postures up. Tuna just content to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Tuna grinds an elbow into Maestro's temple. Tuna taking a breather here.

Not this time though. Maestro is doing well to control the position and prevent Tuna from advancing to side control. Maestro trying to control here.

Tuna shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Maestro is looking to control Tuna's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maestro avoid being mounted?

Maestro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tuna is working away from the top position though. Tuna is trying to control. Maestro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Maestro trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Tuna manages to pass to mount!
Maestro tries to reverse the position but Tuna maintains control. Tuna controlling his opponent. Maestro is in all sorts of trouble here.

Maestro is working hard here to advance position. The referee warns Maestro that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Maestro is in a horrible position here. Tuna smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Maestro is squirming around, avoiding Tuna's attempts to control the action. Tuna prevents Maestro from getting the reversal. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Maestro gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Tuna dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Maestro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tuna sprawls well. Tuna wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maestro gets slowly back to his feet. Maestro looks to land a combination but Tuna avoids it well. Maestro misses with a wild body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tuna. Tuna misses with a low kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Tuna. That's going to slow Maestro down. Maestro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tuna.
Tuna fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maestro is out of range. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tuna, right into the meat.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maestro, as that shot connected.
Tuna throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maestro was covering up waiting for the punch and Tuna finishes the takedown easily into guard. Maestro manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tuna is controlling an arm, preventing Maestro from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Maestro manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tuna's best efforts. Tuna tries to pass the half guard into mount. Maestro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Maestro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tuna is working away from the top position though. Maestro is refusing to be controlled, as Tuna sits in half guard. Tuna drops an elbow to the side of Maestro's head. Tuna is looking to take a break and control but Maestro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tuna is stalling here. Maestro is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tuna seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Maestro has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Tuna missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Maestro is looking to get back to full guard here but Tuna has managed to pass to side control instead. Tuna sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tuna can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maestro is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Tuna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Maestro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Maestro looks to land a combination but Tuna avoids it well. Tuna connects with an inside leg kick. Tuna tries for a takedown but Maestro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tuna throws a leg kick but Maestro sees it coming and checks it nicely. Maestro smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Maestro lands with a nice body punch. Tuna throws a chopping leg kick but Maestro manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bassi Maestro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Maestro misses with the combination.
Maestro is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maestro. An inside leg kick from Tuna misses. Tuna avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maestro throws a hook but Tuna blocks it. Tuna throws a solid leg kick but Maestro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tuna. Maestro looks to land a combination. Tuna sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Maestro fails to land with a series of punches.

Tuna bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tuna wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maestro keeps working. Tuna landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Tuna just content to control the position. Maestro is looking to regain half guard here but Tuna keeps moving and retains side control. Maestro is not content to let Tuna control the position. Maestro gets back to half guard. Bassi Maestro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Tuna trying to control but Maestro is working from the bottom. Maestro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tuna looking to sit in guard and control but Maestro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Maestro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tuna's guard.

Tuna is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Doug Tuna is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Maestro looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bassi Maestro. I think Tuna has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
