Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Toyoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lim has chosen Batibot as his entrance music. Hideo Toyoku has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antoni Lim! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lim looks to score with a jab to the body but Toyoku is just out of range. Toyoku throws a hook but Lim blocks it. Toyoku misses with an uppercut. Lim saw that one coming. Lim misses with a wild body shot. Lim lands with a hook. Toyoku tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lim swings away with a leg kick that misses. Lim cracks Toyoku with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Hideo Toyoku has been cut. Toyoku throws a right hand that Lim ducks under and follows up with a left that Lim also avoids with ease. Toyoku blocks a jab. A big left from Lim misses. Lim throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Toyoku throws a lazy right hand but Lim sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Toyoku was well out of range. Poor timing from Lim.

Antoni Lim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lim uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Toyoku. Lim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Toyoku was well out of range. Poor timing from Lim. Nice cross by Lim. Lim waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Toyoku. The fighters circling - Toyoku throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lim throws a hook to the side of Toyoku's head but Toyoku sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. and Toyoku counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Toyoku seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lim is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lim gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A looping hook to the body misses from Toyoku. Lim does a little dance to reset his feet. Toyoku lands with an overhand left. A decent looking cross lands there for Toyoku. Toyoku fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Toyoku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lim misses with a shot to the body and Toyoku counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lim is trying to maintain the position but Toyoku is very close to passing his half guard. Toyoku performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Toyoku not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Toyoku is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lim sees it coming and defends easily. Lim blocking the ground and pound attempt from Toyoku. Lim is trying to control but can't.

Lim is not content to let Toyoku control the position. Lim trying to control but Toyoku postures up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Toyoku is trying to control. Lim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lim missing with a left hand there. Toyoku was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Toyoku looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lim misses with a body punch
and Toyoku counters with a left to the body. Lim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Lim thows a left - swing and a miss! Lim misses with a shot to the body letting Toyoku counter with a right hand. Toyoku misses with a series of wild punches.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hideo Toyoku will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hideo Toyoku's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Toyoku in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Toyoku thows a big elbow that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lim is on top in guard.

Toyoku has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Toyoku is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lim pulls his head out easily. Toyoku wants to control but Lim is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that's the end of the fight! Hideo Toyoku showed his dominance in that final round. I think Toyoku has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
