Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Glasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuzaki Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clyde Glasper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryuzaki Kimura! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glasper moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Glasper dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Glasper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kimura doesn't seem bothered though. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kimura. Sloppy strikes there by Kimura. Kimura trying to control the position but Glasper is working away. Glasper is looking for a sweep.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Glasper keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kimura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Glasper as he avoids it easily. Glasper moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nice cross by Glasper. Kimura is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Glasper. No luck for Kimura with that takedown attempt. Glasper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jab from Glasper. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Glasper!
Kimura closes the distance and clinches up with Glasper, looking for a takedown. Kimura pushes Glasper against the cage but Glasper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Clyde Glasper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuzaki Kimura. Glasper lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kimura fails with a takedown attempt. Glasper stalks Kimura and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kimura's face. Kimura staggers backwards, shaken. Horrible takedown by Kimura or perhaps it was just good defense by Glasper which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Glasper. Glasper wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kimura takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Glasper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Glasper wants it to stay on the feet. Kimura looks gassed! Kimura shoots in looking for a takedown. Glasper tries to sprawl out of it but Kimura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glasper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kimura shoots in for a takedown but Glasper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice jab there from Glasper. Kimura looks for a takedown but Glasper sprawls well. Glasper's corner calls for a 1-2. Glasper obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Clyde Glasper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kimura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glasper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kimura somewhat. Kimura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Glasper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Glasper connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kimura momentarily.
Kimura tries to move into range but Glasper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Glasper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kimura's head backwards. Glasper lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Glasper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kimura. Glasper stuffs the takedown attempt from Kimura. Kimura gets slowly back to his feet. Kimura walks into a straight right hand from Glasper. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kimura is defended easily by Glasper. Glasper is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Kimura takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Glasper getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kimura has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Glasper stuffs the takedown attempt from Kimura. Kimura gets slowly back to his feet. Glasper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Glasper connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kimura momentarily.
Glasper throws a combination. Kimura tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kimura closes the distance and clinches up with Glasper, looking for a takedown. Kimura is breathing heavily. Glasper takes the fight into the clinch. Glasper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glasper lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Glasper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Glasper lands a nice shot that snaps Kimura's head back.
Kimura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Glasper's waist but Glasper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kimura off to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kimura. Glasper listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Glasper throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Glasper lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Glasper is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kimura tries for a takedown but Glasper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Glasper was covering up waiting for the punch and Kimura finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Glasper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Glasper wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving. Glasper is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kimura is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clyde Glasper. Kimura shoots in but Glasper avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glasper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Clyde Glasper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuzaki Kimura. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glasper is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kimura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Glasper as he avoids it easily. Good exchange - Glasper coming out on top. Kimura takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Glasper goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Glasper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Glasper wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd cheers as Glasper lands an impressive looking overhand right. Glasper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kimura takes one to the chin there. Glasper keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ryuzaki Kimura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glasper scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kimura shoots in for a takedown but Glasper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Glasper is working the combinations to good effect here. Kimura on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A punch lands to the side of Kimura 's head but he takes it in his stride.
And that's the end of the fight! Clyde Glasper showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glasper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
