Parks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Undead. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Parks!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as The Snake blocks the low kick.
Parks takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Parks shoots in for a double leg but The Snake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The Snake catches Parks with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Jose Parks has been cut.
The Snake connects with a single shot there.
Good standup being displayed there by The Snake as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parks tries to close the distance and clinch but The Snake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Parks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Snake circles away quickly and effectively.

The Snake shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. The Snake showed some decent athleticism there.

The Snake is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Parks has managed to free his arm - good work.
Well, if The Snake is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
