Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Baran might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beach Boys - Barbara Ann . Alves has chosen Zangief - Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Baran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Charlie Alves!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baran scores with a jab.
Alves looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Baran feints and then cracks Alves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alves down.
Baran throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Baran lands with a kick to the temple. Alves shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Charlie Alves has been cut.
Bob Baran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baran lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Baran feints and then cracks Alves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alves down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baran cracks the inside of Alves's front leg.
A head kick from Baran lands but Alves takes it in his stride.
Baran lands a high kick!
Baran scores with a sloppy right hand. Alves should have avoided that one.
Alves is rocked!
Baran drops Alves with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Alves! Baran dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Bob Baran!
