Jack comes to the cage accompanied by Stand up like a hurricane. Sanderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dope - Debonair kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanderson throws a lazy right hand but Jack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sanderson misses with an uppercut.
Jack doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanderson circles away.
Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Sanderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jack sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sanderson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jack.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cael Sanderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sanderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sanderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jack circles away quickly and effectively.
Sanderson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jack makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jack.

Jack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sanderson is fighting to break Jack's control of his arms but Jack is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Sanderson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sanderson.

Sanderson closes the distance and clinches up with Jack, looking for a takedown. Sanderson pushes Jack against the cage but Jack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jack rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sanderson throws a hook to the side of Jack's head but Jack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sanderson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jack counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jack bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sanderson's head backwards.
Jack walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanderson.
Gassey Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cael Sanderson.
