Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremiah Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Watanabe's choice of entrance music: Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Katsuo Watanabe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Watanabe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hancock.

It looks like Jeremiah Hancock has been cut.

Hancock shoots in for a takedown but Watanabe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hancock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Watanabe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Watanabe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hancock is now in Watanabe's guard. A big mistake from Watanabe there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Watanabe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hancock defends well.
Hancock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watanabe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Watanabe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hancock!

Hancock is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Hancock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hancock will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Watanabe is on top in guard.
