Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Dwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tom Dwan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwan throws a series of strikes that have Simpson backpedaling.
Simpson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Simpson showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Simpson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dwan keeps working.

Dwan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Dwan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Simpson!

Dwan wants to finish this one by submission but Simpson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dwan.

Dwan throws a sloppy strike and Simpson uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Simpson has ended up in Dwan's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Simpson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dwan wants to pass the guard but Simpson is defending well.

Dwan lands with a hook. Simpson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Dwan lands a nice hook to Simpson's body. Simpson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dwan stalks Simpson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Simpson's face. Simpson staggers backwards, shaken.
Tom Dwan is winning the standup battle so far.
Dwan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dwan scores with a hook to the body. Simpson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dwan lands with a straight right. Simpson didn't see that one coming.

A shot to the liver by Dwan. Beautiful body shot.
Dwan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Simpson on the side of the head.
Dwan tries to bum rush Simpson with a series of wild strikes but Simpson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dwan connects with the punch.
Dwan throws a head kick that Simpson semi-blocks.
Dwan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dwan duly obliges.
Simpson is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Dwan knocks Simpson out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
