Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ibi Dikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaahl Infernus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dikki comes into the arena with blaring out of the sound system. Infernus has chosen Carving A Giant by Gorgoroth as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ibi Dikki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gaahl Infernus! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Infernus wants to clinch. A leg kick checked by Dikki. Infernus misses with a body shot.
Infernus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dikki. Some wild striking there from Infernus.
Infernus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dikki moves away. Infernus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters circling - Infernus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Infernus jabbing away but nothing is landing. Infernus throws a sloppy head kick and Dikki moves out of range easily. Dikki blocks the body kick.
Dikki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Infernus misses with a looping left. Infernus thuds his right hand into Dikki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Infernus misses with an uppercut. Dikki saw that one coming. Infernus cracks the inside of Dikki's front leg. Infernus will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Infernus finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Infernus tries to keep at a distance but Dikki has taken the fight into the clinch. Dikki keeps control of Infernus as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dikki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Infernus tries to land knees in the clinch but Dikki avoids the damage to the body. Infernus lands a body punch in the clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Infernus.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Infernus jabs Dikki right on the nose. Dikki blinks but takes it well. Infernus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dikki. Infernus lands with an uppercut that bounces Dikki off the cage and back into rage. Infernus closes the distance looking to clinch and Dikki counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dikki takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Infernus can do anything to dispel that myth. Infernus has his hands clasped together around Dikki's back. He's all about the action. Infernus is looking for a sweep. Dikki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dikki throwing shots but Infernus is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dikki trying to mount his opponent but Infernus defends it. Dikki is working for a submission of some sort.
Dikki is looking for a kimura but Infernus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dikki to get the leverage. Infernus trying to control here.
Dikki throws a strike but Infernus avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Infernus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dikki wants to control from the top but Infernus keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dikki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Infernus pulls Dikki in to control the position. Dikki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dikki trying to control the position from guard on top but Infernus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dikki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Infernus is keeping the position for now. Dikki wants to control from the top but Infernus keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dikki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gaahl Infernus dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dikki blocks a jab. Infernus misses with an uppercut. Dikki saw that one coming. The fighters circling - Infernus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dikki slips a jab from Infernus. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dikki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Infernus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Infernus lands with a slapping head kick. Dikki keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Dikki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Infernus throws a sloppy head kick and Dikki counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Infernus! Dikki looking to ground and pound but Infernus is blocking nicely. Infernus wants to control but Dikki is having none of it. Infernus wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dikki.
That's one minute gone in the round. Infernus is looking to improve his position but Dikki isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Dikki there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Dikki is trying to control here but Infernus has managed to regain half guard.
Dikki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Infernus's head. Dikki seems to be working for a kimura but Infernus defends the submission attempt. Infernus is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dikki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Infernus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dikki wants to work for an arm triangle but Infernus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dikki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dikki seems to be working for a kimura but Infernus defends the submission attempt. Infernus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Infernus avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dikki. Dikki is trying to control the action in half guard but Infernus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Infernus tries to get to full guard but Dikki has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dikki tries to pass the half guard into mount. Infernus knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Infernus is trying to get back to full guard. Infernus is looking to control Dikki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Infernus avoid being mounted? Dikki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Infernus wants to control but Dikki is keeping busy and won't allow it. Infernus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dikki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dikki with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Infernus takes a swing at Dikki's ribcage but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Infernus throws a big shot that misses. Infernus tries to clinch up and Dikki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dikki stops Infernus from getting back to his feet.

Ibi Dikki dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Dikki tries to clinch but Infernus moves out of range. Infernus misses with a hook. Dikki ducked under it nicely. Infernus takes a swing at Dikki's ribcage but misses. Infernus lands the left hand. Dikki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Infernus tries to clinch up and Dikki counters with a single leg into guard. Infernus didn't expect that. Dikki stopping the sweep attempt from Infernus. Dikki trying to control the position from guard on top but Infernus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Infernus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dikki trying to control but Infernus is working from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Infernus looks to land a body kick but Dikki moved away. Dikki circles away from the clinch attempt and Dikki counters with a slapping leg kick. Dikki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A punch combination from Infernus misses. Infernus works Dikki's body with a nice hook. Dikki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Infernus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Infernus looks to land a left hand but Dikki moved out of range nicely. Infernus tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dikki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Infernus won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Infernus is looking for a sweep. Infernus managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dikki.
Dikki is looking to take a break and control but Infernus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dikki tries for a kimura but Infernus is defending well. Infernus is trying to improve his position. Dikki throwing shots but missing, from side control. Dikki goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Infernus rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dikki's guard! Nice work there by Infernus!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dikki has a closed guard, preventing Infernus from standing up. Dikki is looking for a triangle but Infernus pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Infernus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Infernus passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Dikki is pressing down on Infernus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dikki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Infernus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Infernus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dikki is on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ibi Dikki showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dikki has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
