Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sluggo Brott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sluggo Brott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bob White!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White with a hook.
White looks for the body kick but Brott saw that one coming.
Brott pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
White throws a leg kick but Brott sees it coming and moves out of range.
White throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
White misses with a straight right.
White misses the shot to the body.
White lands with a cross.
Brott steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and White counters with a nice uppercut.

White throws a looping overhand right but Brott ducks down to avoid it.

and White counters with a nice low kick that buckles Brott's knee momentarily.
Brott avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brott throws a jab but it's blocked by White.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brott.
Brott closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
White tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White tries to escape but Brott is in control.
Brott lands an elbow.
White pushes Brott away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Brott gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Brott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brott is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there.
Brott creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
White wants to control but Brott postures up.
White is looking for a sweep.
White managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brott.
Brott misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

White tries to control but Brott wriggling away.
Brott is desperately trying to improve his position but White has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brott is looking to escape.
Brott sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brott throws a leg kick
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brott blocks a head kick by White.
White on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Brott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away.

and White counters with a nice low kick that buckles Brott's knee momentarily.
Brott shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Brott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sluggo Brott. That's going to take a lot out of him.

White throws an overhand right that lands on Brott's shoulder, as Brott tries to avoid the shot.
White throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

White scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brott.

White drops Brott with a beautiful combination! Brott stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - White is looking for the KO!
Brott is rocked!
Sluggo Brott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brott.
White lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Brott can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from White and Brott drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by White.
