Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from zanelli is defended easily by Butler.
Butler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
zanelli has a takedown stuffed.
zanelli shoots in and gets a takedown into Butler's guard.
zanelli thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

zanelli stops Butler from standing up.
zanelli drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and zanelli jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Butler wants to stand up but zanelli is controlling him.
zanelli is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Butler trying to keep a closed guard but zanelli is proving a slippery customer.
zanelli is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
zanelli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
zanelli drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Butler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now zanelli has Butler in his guard.
Butler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
zanelli has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Butler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
zanelli has momentary wrist control but Butler slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Butler is looking to work some ground and pound but zanelli has wrist control.
zanelli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
zanelli is looking to sinch up a triangle. Butler throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to zanelli's body to avoid the submission. zanelli has instead reached around Butler's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! zanelli arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
