Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Whit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ernie Whit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike White! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White on the wrong end of a nice hook. White defending well as Whit loads up on a big left hand. Whit cracks White with a good jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Whit. White does a little dance to reset his feet. White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Whit's waist but Whit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side. Whit loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch. White defending well as Whit loads up on a big left hand. White moves forwards but Whit connects with a nice, crisp jab. White tries to keep at a distance but Whit has taken the fight into the clinch. Whit is working White over against the cage. Whit wants the takedown. White is fighting it off but Whit persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in White's guard against the cage. Whit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Whit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Whit with a nice head shot there. White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Whit with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whit content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White is looking for a triangle but Whit pushes his legs off easily.
White looks gassed! Whit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Whit works a leg free and moves into half guard. Whit works his foot free and advances to mount. Whit landing strikes, looking to finish! Whit lands a heavy elbow. Whit cracks White with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns White that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
White is rocked! A nice elbow there by Whit. White is still in real trouble! Can Whit finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Whit looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has White covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernie Whit!
