Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian McShame!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jessy Ventura!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McShame fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ventura changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McShame looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McShame tries to get back to half guard but can't.

McShame explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
McShame shoots in for a double leg but Ventura sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ventura feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ventura slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
McShame wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ventura manages to pass to side control.
Ventura is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Ventura wants to pass to mount but McShame is defending the position.

Ventura escapes and gets back to his feet.
McShame misses with a takedown attempt

and Ventura counters with a nice double leg into side control. McShame won't be happy with that.
McShame tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ventura looks gassed!
Ventura is looking to take a break and control but McShame is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McShame is trying to improve his position.

Ventura creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McShame sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ventura slows the pace down.
McShame tries to buck Ventura off but Ventura is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McShame moves in looking to clinch but Ventura pushes him off.

Ventura drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ventura wants to lay and pray for a moment but McShame keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ventura decides to stand up, so the ref orders McShame to his feet.

Ventura circles away from the clinch attempt.
McShame shoots in but no luck this time.

Ventura gets caught flat footed, as McShame shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ventura wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ventura thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Ventura looking for a triangle here. McShame is fighting it but it looks tight! Ventura pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, McShame is tapping out - this one is all over!
